TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to JP's Partyverse! By booking our services, accessing our website at www.jpspartyverse.com or engaging with our entertainment services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not book our services or use our website.

1. SERVICES PROVIDED

JP's Partyverse provides live entertainment services for events including, but not limited to:

• DJ and MC services

• Karaoke entertainment

• Music Bingo

• Traditional Bingo

• Trivia nights

• Game shows

• Party entertainment for private events, corporate functions, bars, restaurants, and venues

Our services may be provided as standalone offerings or as part of a package. All services, pricing, and availability are subject to confirmation at the time of booking.

2. BOOKING & RESERVATIONS

2.1 Booking Process

To reserve our services, you must:

• Submit a booking request through our website, email, or phone

• Provide accurate event information (date, time, location, type of event, expected attendance)

• Receive confirmation from JP's Partyverse in writing (email confirmation)

• Sign a service agreement (if required for your event type)

2.2 Booking Confirmation

Your booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from JP's Partyverse and any required deposit has been received.

3. PAYMENT TERMS

3.1 Deposit Requirements

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total service fee is required to secure your booking. The deposit must be received within 7 days of booking confirmation. If the deposit is not received within this timeframe, we reserve the right to release your date to other clients.

3.2 Final Payment

The remaining balance (50%) is due no later than 14 days before your event date. Events will not proceed if final payment has not been received by this deadline.

3.3 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

• PayPal

• Venmo

• Zelle

• Bank transfer

• Cash (for certain bookings)

3.4 Late Payments

If final payment is not received 14 days before your event, a late fee of $50 will be applied. JP's Partyverse reserves the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received by the event date.

3.5 Additional Charges

Any additional services requested on the day of the event (extended hours, additional equipment, etc.) will be billed separately and must be paid before the conclusion of the event.

4. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

4.1 Client Cancellations

Cancellations by the client will be subject to the following refund schedule:

• 60+ days before event: Full refund minus the deposit (50% refund of total booking)

• 30-59 days before event: 25% refund of total booking

• 14-29 days before event: No refund, but you may reschedule once within 6 months (subject to availability)

• Less than 14 days before event: No refund, no rescheduling

All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email.

4.2 Rescheduling

You may reschedule your event once without penalty if:

• You provide at least 30 days' notice

• You reschedule within 6 months of the original date

• Your new date is available

Additional rescheduling requests may incur a $100 rescheduling fee.

4.3 JP's Partyverse Cancellations

In the unlikely event that JP's Partyverse must cancel your booking due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, we will:

• Provide as much notice as possible

• Offer to reschedule to another available date at no additional charge

• Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible

We are not liable for any additional costs you may incur due to cancellation (venue fees, catering, etc.).

4.4 Force Majeure (Weather, Emergencies, Acts of God)

If your event must be cancelled or postponed due to severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other events beyond our control:

• We will work with you to reschedule at no additional charge

• If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be provided

• JP's Partyverse is not liable for any other costs associated with the cancellation

5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

By booking our services, you agree to:

5.1 Venue & Access

• Provide accurate venue address and contact information

• Ensure JP's Partyverse has access to the venue at least 1 hour before the event start time for setup

• Provide a safe, accessible location for equipment setup

• Notify the venue of our arrival and ensure cooperation from venue staff

5.2 Power & Space Requirements

• Provide access to standard electrical outlets (120V) within 50 feet of the performance area

• Provide adequate space for equipment setup (minimum 10x10 feet)

• Ensure the performance area is clear and ready for setup

• Provide a covered area for outdoor events (tent, canopy, or indoor backup location)

5.3 Accurate Information

• Provide accurate guest count estimates

• Inform us of any special requirements, requests, or restrictions

• Notify us immediately of any changes to event details

• Provide emergency contact information

5.4 Appropriate Behavior

• Ensure that you and your guests treat our staff and equipment with respect

• Do not allow guests to operate or tamper with our equipment

• Maintain a safe environment free from harassment, violence, or illegal activity

• Follow venue rules and regulations

5.5 Minors at Events

If your event includes attendees under 18 years of age, you must inform us in advance. We will adjust our content and music selection accordingly to ensure age-appropriate entertainment.

6. JP'S PARTYVERSE RESPONSIBILITIES

We commit to:

6.1 Professional Service

• Arrive on time and fully prepared for your event

• Provide professional, courteous, and engaging entertainment

• Use professional-grade equipment in good working condition

• Dress appropriately for your event type

6.2 Equipment & Backup

• Bring backup equipment to every event

• Maintain all equipment in excellent working condition

• Carry liability insurance for our operations

6.3 Music Licensing

• Maintain proper music licensing through ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC for all music performed

• Ensure all music played is properly licensed for public performance

7. LIABILITY & LIMITATIONS

7.1 Equipment

While we take every precaution to ensure our equipment functions properly, JP's Partyverse is not liable for:

• Equipment malfunctions due to venue power issues

• Damage caused by venue conditions (water, heat, humidity)

• Technical difficulties beyond our control

In the event of equipment failure, we will make every reasonable effort to resolve the issue quickly using backup equipment.

7.2 Venue Issues

JP's Partyverse is not responsible for:

• Venue access issues or restrictions

• Venue noise ordinances or neighbor complaints

• Venue safety issues or property damage

• Parking or accessibility issues at the venue

7.3 Third-Party Services

If you hire other vendors (caterers, photographers, other entertainers), JP's Partyverse is not responsible for coordinating with them or for any issues arising from their services.

7.4 Guest Behavior

We reserve the right to:

• Refuse service to intoxicated or disruptive individuals

• Pause or end the event if guest behavior becomes dangerous, threatening, or violates venue rules

• Call venue security or law enforcement if necessary

If we must end an event early due to guest misconduct, no refund will be provided.

7.5 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JP's Partyverse's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for those services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

8.1 Our Content

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and design elements, is the property of JP's Partyverse and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without written permission.

8.2 Event Photos & Videos

We may take photos and videos during your event for promotional purposes (website, social media, marketing materials). By booking our services, you grant us permission to use these materials.

If you do not want your event photographed or used for marketing:

• Notify us in writing before your event

• We will respect your privacy and not take photos/videos

8.3 Your Content

If you provide us with music playlists, special requests, or other content, you represent that you have the right to do so and that we may use this content during your event.

9. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold JP's Partyverse harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your breach of these Terms

• Your violation of any law or regulation

• Guest behavior at your event

• Venue issues or violations of venue rules

10. PRIVACY & DATA USE

Your personal information (name, email, phone number, event details) will be used solely for:

• Event coordination and communication

• Payment processing

• Service improvement

• Marketing communications (with your consent)

11. CHANGES TO TERMS

JP's Partyverse reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

For bookings made before changes take effect, the Terms in place at the time of booking will apply.

12. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, The United States of America. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of The Mecklenburg County Courthouse, North Carolina.

14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, along with any signed service agreements and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and JP's Partyverse regarding our services.
